An Elegant Sicilian House in Taormina
The “Villa Paradiso”, a recently restored historic boutique hotel, is located a few metres from the centre of Taormina, Corso Umberto, the Greek Theatre and the Palazzo dei Congressi.
The hotel borders the Duca di Cesarò Park, the ‘Tennis Club’ and has the most enchanting view of the Bay of Naxos and Mount Etna.
The lounge, the veranda with garden view, the bar and the reception are furnished with an important collection of antique prints and paintings.
On the top floor of the building is the rooftop “Settimo Cielo” used as a breakfast room for the morning and cocktail bar from 4pm to midnight.
The Hotel offers free beach service from 01/06 to 30/09 at the prestigious “Nuova Spiaggia Paradiso” in Letojanni, guests will be given free entrance to the beach club including of a place on the beach with sun loungers, parasol and beach towels. The return transfer is organised at set times and has a cost of € 10.00 per person.

Our history, over a century of hospitality
The Hotel Villa Paradiso, a historic hotel in Taormina, was established in the early 1900s.
The Martorana family bought the property in 1892 from an English noblewoman, Lady Florence Trevelyan.
The Villa Paradiso overlooks the public garden of Taormina, and was originally an accessory body.
initially used as a wine shop and was converted into the ‘Villa Paradiso’ guesthouse in 1912, beginning to host travellers from all over Europe, often penniless Bohemians who, unable to could not pay, they would leave paintings in exchange, which we can still admire today in the hotel’s salons.
In the early 1950s, Salvatore Martorana and his wife Esther took the reins of management, who further increased the importance of the hotel, making it a point of reference in the of Taormina hospitality and a meeting place for the various personalities who characterised the Perla’s golden years of the Perla.
The Martorana family, already in its 5th generation, is among the longest-living dynasties of hoteliers in Sicily, which offers hotel guests an experience of warmth and true hospitality, preserving all the charm and original architectural features, with charming lounges and rooms elegantly furnished rooms. Here, every piece of furniture, every painting, every print, every carpet is linked to the history of this place and this family.
On the top floor of the building is the rooftop ‘Settimo Cielo’ from which one can enjoy a breathtaking panorama, from here you can admire views of the Greek theatre, the volcano Etna, the municipal villa and the beautiful, jagged Ionian coastline.
During the summer, the hotel offers its guests the possibility of using the services of the exclusive Nuova Spiaggia Paradiso, one of the most beautiful and renowned bathing establishments in the area.
